In 2016, Schule Sarnen participated in the KWACE Future President Calendar project. Swiss students raised CHF 3295.40 for the Center of excellence for Vocational Training (CVT), Myanmar, allowing students in Myanmar to learn skills for their future careers.
President for a day
The students of Schule Sarnen decided that if they were to become president, they would help to protect nature and the planet for future generations. Their nature theme included stunning hand-drawn pictures of animals and birds, which were made into table calendars. After printing costs, they presented the money raised to Heini Portmann, President of CVT Myanmar.
